UIForma: building the tools I wanted to see
A design system builder and device mockup studio, built to turn design decisions into something portable.
I'm actively building these tools because I felt like there was a real gap in what's available today for creators, developers, and designers. UIForma actually started as a little tool I threw together quickly with Figma Make to make color systems easier. It's since blossomed into a full UI system studio.
What it does
You set your design rules and your color system, with guardrails along the way to help you make choices that hold up. Then you export the whole thing to give yourself a head start, whether you're building a website with plain CSS and HTML, putting together a Figma design kit, starting a new app in Swift, or something else entirely. The point is that your design decisions become portable instead of trapped in one file.
Then came Studio
While making UIForma I wanted a little marketing page to help people discover it, and I wanted to show the app on a decent render of a mock device. After some searching, I couldn't find a tool I liked that didn't come coupled with a subscription. So I started making my own, and that's how UIForma Studio was born: precise device mockup controls that still feel playful to use.
Free, and built in the open
Both tools are still in development, but I've decided to develop them out in the open and let people use them totally for free, as a gift to the community. Creating the tools I want to see.
